There will be protest against the invasion and occupation of Iraq from noon to 1:00 on the first Saturday of the next two months-- April 5th and May 3rd. These events will be at the corners of Bowman and Chenal in Little Rock. Please remember that these are peaceful demonstrations and that we are always supportive of the troops and their families. The Sierra Club recently purchased 250 lawn signs that say NO TO DIRTY COAL YES TO CLEAN ENERGY. This Friday at 5pm we are planning to go door to door getting petitions signed and asking people to put these lawn signs on their front yard. Considering we have a limited supply we will focus our canvassing on specific neighborhoods. Join us this Friday night for our first renewable energy fundraiser! We're raising money to help fund Little Rock's first wind turbine planned for Dunbar Gardens. This party is to raise awareness about the project and will serve to build a base for several future events planned for the summer.
