Just a reminder: Our first potluck dinner was a smashing success, and we’re doing it again this week! And, we’re adding an “open mic” event following dinner! Don’t forget to bring your recipe if you’d like to include your dish in the ASN/AR Heartland Slow Foods All Arkansas Cookbook.

We'd love to see you and your family Wednesday, May 28th at 6:00 p.m. for a potluck dinner celebrating local foods. You can arrive as early as 5:30, or just drop by whenever you can - the food will be served continuously until it's all gone! Come network with fellow citizens and producers/growers in a completely casual setting where NO formal presentations or speakers will be featured. An Open Mic Night for spoken word and music will follow from 7:30-9:30 p.m. – all artists welcome!

Bring your favorite dish, be it meat or vegetable, and a favorite beverage if you’d like. Or perhaps a salad, appetizer, or dessert is your favorite for sharing. We’ve got a full kitchen for last minute preparations,and we’ll provide cutlery, dishes, ice, and seating. Please feel free to bring then entire family and arrive anytime between 6-8 p.m. Our intention is to share fresh, local foods and encourage all to explore the possibilities of incorporating localism in every aspect of our daily lives. And if you can’t bring a dish, just bring a small donation instead!

We’ll continue the dinners on the last Wednesday of every month, at least through September, so mark these dates on your calendar: June 25, July 30, August 27, and September 24.

VERY LIMITED parking available in rear, you can also park on the gravel area immediately east of our back yard in the gravel area owned by the Deaf School. PLEASE consider walking, riding your bike, the bus,or carpooling.
