“Green living” is at everyone’s doorstep and has weaved its way into our local culture. As people learn about the need to go green, one question lingers on everyone’s mind…
“What can I do to ‘green’ my home?”
The 2008 Natural State Expo, to be held October 11th, at the Statehouse COnvention Center, explores this question. The Green Home Show will provide attendees with solutions for going green in their home. The Expo will feature a walk-through, open-walled home. Room by room, the green home exhibit will display products and services for the entire home. The event will provide resources to assist Arkansans in upgrading their living space, including tips for natural living and illustrations of how small changes can have big impacts.
There are many ways to participate in the 2008 Green Home Show and Exhibit including
- displaying and marketing your product or service,
- providing educational activities for children and families attending the event,
- leading a team of youth to enter our green playhouse competition,
- volunteering to help set-up and coordinate the event, and
- donating to make the event possible.
