Tomorrow morning Friday Feb. 1st at 9am Governor Beebe will be hosting his monthly “Ask the Governor” radio show on KARN. This is a great chance to get Governor Beebe live on air talking about the most important environmental issue in the state of Arkansas. Coal-fired power plants provide almost half our nation’s power and almost 40% of the United States’ annual carbon dioxide emissions, making them a major contributor to global warming. There is no such thing as clean coal and if the Governor is serious about global warming and renewable energy he needs to stop these plants.
