WHAT: Press Conference Seeking a Moratorium on Coal-Fired Power Plants in Arkansas

WHEN: Wednesday, February 6th, Noon

WHERE: Arkansas State Capitol, 2nd floor Rotunda

At the event, the participants will strongly encourage Governor Mike Beebe to declare a moratorium on the approval of coal-fired power plants in Arkansas until the Governor’s Commission on Global Warming has completed its recommendations. The participants will present the first installment of a petition with more than 1000 signatures supporting the moratorium.
