-coordinate an umbrella group on campus that funds, connects, and supports environmental groups and projects on the Columbia University campus
-committed to sustainable living (with roommates): have a vermicompost project, host local foods dinners, member of a CSA, grow own food in a local community garden, use the subway and bus instead of cars or taxis, lots of other stuff
-involved in the Sierra Student Coalition, spent a week this summer training other young environmental activists in the state of Oregon
